How I Approach Phobia Therapy

We start with an assessment to understand what you’re avoiding, how the fear shows up, and what safety behaviors you rely on. 

We identify what the fear is protecting you from and what it’s costing you. Together, we decide where to start based on what feels challenging but doable.

For over ten years, I’ve worked as a therapist in community mental health and with high-performing professionals through employee resource programs. My private practice focuses on anxiety and related disorders like phobias and OCD.

My approach is holistic and recovery-oriented. We focus on meaningful life changes, not just symptom reduction. Sessions are active, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based principles. We work at a pace that encourages you without overwhelming you.

When not in session, I enjoy trail running, cooking, and reading. I live in northeast Los Angeles with my wife and son.
